This is a gorgeous, multi-award-winning Organic red, crafted from a perfect pairing of Syrah and Grenache Noir grape varieties. This solid, robust red claimed Gold at the International Berliner Festival of Wine in 2019. It also took Gold at the Asia Wine Festival in 2019. And Signum has been singled out a favourite by the respected Hachette Wine Guide 2020 which awarded Signum its coveted Coupe de Coeur.
The grapes for this exceptional red require a significant amount of individual attention and Jean-Marie and his three daughters spend up to 20 days each year harvesting these precious globes by hand. A true labour of love.
The grape clusters for this exceptional red are manually pressed using a traditional screw press. You could describe this as a slow wine. The whole process is measured, methodical and full of respect. Time moves slowly for this beautiful wine.
Intensely purple in colour, Signum is brimming with a rich spice bouquet containing redcurrants, slightly jammy with hints of cloves and black peppercorns.
Enjoy. Savour. Don’t rush. This wine deserves respect – not least because it has garnered international recognition and Gold medal status.
This stunning wine is ready to drink now or can be laid down for up to 15 years.
